Wow, this robe is luxurious! It is heavy. It feels like a luxury spa or 5 star hotel robe. It is soft, absorbent, lays nicely, stays tied!!! (huge gripe I have with most robes). I wear a medium typically, and I sized to the large/xl and I'm very glad I did. The extra room makes it feel extra cozy, so I would recommend sizing up if you like extra overlap. It machine washes and dries easily. The gray color is perfect. I'm so glad I got this! I would recommend it as a gift, or as a little splurge for some self-care. I reach for this robe constantly, and feel great about wearing the organic cotton on my skin.

TLDR; if you are a bathrobe person & you want the coziest, most absorbent robe look no further.
This is a seriously luxurious robe with a super soft velour exterior & plush, absorbent interior. The whole thing is organic cotton, with gots & madesafe certification for the purest cotton available. It's nicer than most garments you'll find hanging in a boutique hotel.
We love naturepedic in our house for their commitment to quality & nontoxic home goods, & this does not disappoint. I find the premium price tag to be worth the durability & peace of mind.
I did knock one star because this thing is humongous. They only offer two sizes, with this being the smallest, & it is absolutely engulfing my frame. While I'm on the smaller side, I'm average height so I can't imagine wearing this is if I were short! It is also (as a result of all of the layers) very heavy & very warm. This will be great during the cooler fall & winter months but it's too much for summer even with the AC cranked. I'm more of a linen or jersey cotton robe myself, but that's personal preference.

This bathrobe instantly reminded me of the plush robes you wear at a high-end spa—the kind you're secretly tempted to pack in your suitcase before you leave. It's incredibly soft, warm and substantial without feeling heavy, exceptionally well made, and a beautiful color. The fit is excellent. I especially appreciate that the shoulders actually sit where they're supposed to instead of drooping awkwardly, and the length provides great coverage while still feeling comfortable to move around in. After the first wash, it held up beautifully and actually felt even softer. One of my favorite features is that it's made from organic cotton. It's gentle on the skin, non-irritating, breathable, and feels like the kind of quality that only gets better with time. This would make a wonderful gift for a birthday, bridal shower, Mother's Day, or anyone who deserves a little everyday luxury. Of course, it's also the perfect gift to yourself. If you've ever wished you could take that cozy spa robe home, this one comes pretty close. Plus it's a pretty good price for a luxury bathrobe

This is a nice, thick, quality robe. I love that it is organic fabric! I washed it, following the instructions, and it came out great on the other side. The color is a nice, deep grey, suitable for a guy or a gal. The only thing I noticed, that I didn't love, is that it is a bit heavy. I think it's because its a thicker, nicer robe that will last a long time. After I wore it for awhile, I didn't notice the little bit of extra weight it has. Comfortable and nice enough looking for milling around the house. I really like this company… we have bought mattresses& bed toppers from them in the past&feel they have good, quality items.

What a fantastic & luxurious robe. I am 5' tall & it hits mid calf on me. This robe really feels like a high quality spa robe. It's thick & soft & warm. It definitely has a premium price but I think for the price you get equivalent luxury.

For the price point on this, I think my expectations were pretty high! I’ve never paid $150 for a robe. The most I’ve paid is $100. So I was a little let down by what I received.
While it is a NICE robe (heavy, absorbent, pretty embroidered logo), it’s just not very soft. It has a stiffness to it. The inside is clearly terry cloth as described, like a bath towel. The outside doesn’t look or feel like “velour” to me at all. It just feels like … tighter terry cloth. 😀
The robe has a great weight to it, and the size is really generous (I always size up for robes, and the large/xl is a great fit for bundling), and the length on the belt is likewise generous (I hate a stingy belt length!). But this robe just feels rather normal to me. I know the organic cotton is worth a premium, so that’s why I’m giving it the benefit of the doubt with four stars.
